How do I create a Rolo account?

You can sign-up for Rolo using your work email address, or a professional social account from Google, Microsoft, Apple, LinkedIn, or Salesforce. 

Email

  1. Download and install Rolo Secure Chat onto your mobile device
  2. Open the Rolo Secure Chat app on your mobile device
  3. Type your work email (e.g. firstname.lastname@company.com) in the sign-up page
  4. Tap 'Create account'
  5. Type your password: 8+ characters, 1 capital, 1 number, 1 special character
  6. Tap 'Next'
  7. Type your first name and last name 
  8. Tap 'Create account'
  9. On that same device, open your email app and check for a new message  
  10. From your inbox, open the 'Verify your email' message from Rolo
  11. Tap the 'Verify your email' button
  12. You will be prompted to open the linked page in your preferred browser
  13. Tap your preferred browser
  14. Close the Rolo 'Email verified' page and return to the Rolo app
  15. You should now be able to sign in to your new Rolo account 

Google

  1. Download and install Rolo Secure Chat onto your mobile device
  2. Open the Rolo Secure Chat app on your mobile device
  3. On the Sign-up/Sign-in page, tap the 'Google' button
  4. On the pop-up window, tap 'Continue'
  5. A browser page will automatically open to your Google accounts 
  6. Tap 'add (another) Google account'
  7. Enter your Google ID and password
  8. You should automatically be signed in to your new Rolo account 

Apple

  1. Download and install Rolo Secure Chat onto your mobile device
  2. Open the Rolo app on your mobile device
  3. On the Sign-up/Sign-in page, tap the 'Apple' button
  4. On the pop-up window, tap 'I Understand'
  5. Scan your fingerprint to verify your account
  6. You should automatically be signed in to your new Rolo account 

Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Salesforce

  1. Download and install Rolo Secure Chat onto your mobile device
  2. Open the Rolo app on your mobile device 
  3. On the Sign-up/Sign-in page, tap the 'Microsoft', 'LinkedIn', or 'Salesforce' buttons
  4. On the pop-up window, tap 'Continue' 
  5. A browser page will automatically open to the login page 
  6. Enter your account ID and password 
  7. You should automatically be signed in to your new Rolo account
